For those of you traveling from afar, Lake Como is the perfect place to turn your trip into a long weekend or a relaxing getaway. If you’re planning to stay a little longer, here are some information, experiences and recommendations to help you enjoy everything this beautiful destination has to offer!

Private Minivan / Car Booking

We recommend arranging a private transfer in advance for a smooth and comfortable arrival. For a trusted provider, please contact cristina.saccoccio@limolane.com, specifying the number of passengers, amount of luggage, and your flight details. Kindly include “ALEX&REECE2026” in the subject line of your email.

Train & Taxi

From Malpensa Airport, you can take the Malpensa Express train to either Milano Centrale or Milano Cadorna stations. Once in Milan, regional Trenord trains provide a direct connection to Como San Giovanni Station, with online ticketing options available for added convenience. Taxis and buses are also available from the airport, although in limited numbers, so booking a private transfer is recommended for maximum comfort and reliability.

Car Rental – Malpensa Airport

Car rentals are available at Malpensa Terminal 1 (floor -1). Advance booking is advised.

Staying in one of these hotels will guarantee dedicated shuttle service throughout the events, making transfers effortless and convenient. We warmly encourage you to book your stay in one of these hotels.

 

Alternatively, accommodations in Como or Cernobbio are also recommended, as most events will take place there. For guests choosing other options in the Como or Cernobbio area, convenient pick‑up points will be arranged.

 

Please note that July and August are busy season on the lake, so we strongly suggest booking early.

To ensure the utmost comfort and seamless transfers throughout the celebrations, dedicated shuttles will operate daily between the four partner hotels and the event venues, providing both pick‑up and return services. Final schedules and detailed instructions will be shared shortly before the event.

Guests choosing to stay in the partner hotels will enjoy the convenience of direct shuttle service, ensuring timely and effortless arrivals at each venue. For those opting for other accommodations, designated pick‑up points will be available in the Como or Cernobbio area to join the transfers.

Bellagio & the Gardens of Villa Melzi

Often called the “Pearl of Lake Como,” Bellagio is known for its charming cobbled streets, elegant architecture, boutique shops, and excellent restaurants. While there, don’t miss a visit to the beautiful gardens of Villa Melzi.

You can reach Bellagio by ferry or private water taxi.

Villa del Balbianello

One of the most iconic villas on the lake, known for its stunning gardens and fascinating history. It was once owned by explorer Guido Monzino and has been featured in films such as Casino Royale and Star Wars.

Villa Carlotta

Located in Tremezzo, this villa is a perfect blend of art, architecture, and nature. Its expansive botanical gardens are home to exotic plants, while the museum houses works by renowned artists such as Antonio Canova and Francesco Hayez.

Varenna

A picturesque and authentic lakeside village where time seems to stand still. Stroll through its narrow streets, visit the charming Piazza San Giorgio, and explore the beautiful
